I have made these MP3 recordings by producing new percussion based arrangements of classical and ragtime pieces that emphasize the counterpoint, bring fresh colours from new world instruments in exciting ways for you as MP3 music downloads. Many of our latest recordings feature a combination of a Balinese Gamelan Orchestra with a variety of Marimbas. This exciting combination works particularly well with our Ragtime music - much of which was originally put into the public domain as MIDI files by John Cowell. My Inspiration Inspired by Emerson Lake and Palmer, Wendy Carlos and Evelyn Glennie amongst others - our percussion arrangements belong to a Feel Good Electronica musical genre - more than old wine in new bottles - they are original recordings which repay active listening. For example our new recordings of Beethoven's 3rd and 5th Symphonies show how new world instrumentation can shed new light on even the greatest classical creations - bringing them to life in fresh and exciting ways whilst remaining true to the original spirit.
The digital recordings of these arrangements were compressed into MP3 files. They are sampled at 48k Hertz and encoded at 192k bits per second - slightly better than a CD. They are suitable for use with all your MP3 Players including iPods, iPads, iPhones and Android devices and can readily be added to your collection by means of the relevant software such as iTunes.
We retain the copyright for any public performance or commercial use of our recordings and the details are spelt out in our Commercial Page. But you can download them free of charge for your unrestricted personal use.
