Legitimate MP3 Music Files Search Options

We have set up a new search facility for legitimate MP3 files - both free and paid for.

To do this we are inspecting the sites included in the scope of the searches. Inclusion of sites is based on our judgement about the legitimacy of the site and the respect they show to the copyright owners of the material they offer.

However inclusion does not guarantee this legitimacy - for example if it particularly difficult to judge the status of some of the Russian sites. The search results represent our best endeavours and no more than that.

We do not include subscription sites because we feel that they are well able to look after themselves and are not particularly helpful to people searching for specific pieces of music.

What we really need now to make this more complete is a band of colaborators with specialis knowledge of of other areas of music who wold like to share in the development of this tool. If you feel you could fill this role please email our webmaster and we'll give you a try out.
