This selection of popular examples of the works by Carl Maria von Weber in the form of the Hungarian Andante and Rondo for Bassoon and Orchestra and the Rondo Briliante is simply magical.
The Hungarian Andante and Rondo for Bassoon and Orchestra came to us miss labled as a Clarinet Concerto Rondo which we perpetuated for some years until we were kindly corrected by Kanimoto on You Tube - the MP3 arrangement is rendered here by a synthesized Moog xylophone/marimba combination taking the bassoon part and steel drums with the orchestral part and highlights the rhythmic playful aspects of this piece. The Rondo Brilliante lives up to its name in sparkling fashion in this arrangement of harp and vibes with steel drums
